MEET IRIS JOY ANDRE'
Iris Joy Andre’ is a kind, enthusiastic respiratory therapist specializing in pediatrics, an asthma educator, and a determined entrepreneur. In 2017 she followed her dreams and took a leap of faith in creating Over the Rainbow to combine her business skills and passion for healthcare. Her creative spirit and love of interior decorating enabled her to design the whimsical lobby and themed exam rooms with the hopes of distracting the child from pain and encouraging their imagination. Iris Joy’s genuine intention is to be an inspiring, open-minded servant leader and a happy, helpful caregiver.
Because she was blessed with a son (now a precious angel 2012-2018) with special needs, she has a natural compassion towards sick or hurting children and a true sense of empathy with parents. Her sweet little boy has taught her to complain less and appreciate more, while her wise beyond her years daughter reminds her daily to laugh out loud and CHOOSE JOY. Something she will cherish forever is the collection of beautiful memories she made with her children while visiting all 50 states.
Iris’s passion for healthy and happy children recently led her to study yoga, music, and free movement for kids. She was blessed with the opportunity to learn from yoga teachers in India, Peru, Nepal, Yosemite National Park, and Sedona, Arizona. She is excited to begin teaching a fun kids yoga/free movement class after-hours at Over the Rainbow during the upcoming Spring/Summer months.
Iris continuously seeks education, volunteer opportunities, and is an active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC), Association of Asthma Educators, and Urgent Care Association of America.
Outside of work, Iris loves exploring our world, scrapbooking, writing, and having fun with her Las Vegas native husband and their awesome teenage daughter. Together they enjoy music and road-tripping to national parks in their ‘73 VW bus. Fun Fact: Ms. Iris has visited over 30 countries.
